2011 Annual Meeting and Workshop
The 2011 NeCODP Annual Meeting and Metadata Workshop was held on June 8 and 9 at the University of New Hampshire.
Thanks to everyone for another successful NeCODP Annual Meeting and Metadata Workshop! We really appreciate the level of effort folks made to attend the meeting and workshop. Thank you to our presenters for providing such informative content to the partnership. We provided videoconference/webinar feed for folks who were unable to travel, and hope they were able to benefit from the content of the meeting and workshop!

Day 1: NeCODP Annual Meeting
Meeting goals:
- Reviewed Partnership and related efforts from the past year to learn about successes, challenges and opportunities
- Re-invigorated and focused the Partnership’s effort for next year
- Learned about advances in metadata from the community at large
- Outlined the annual workplan for NeCODP
Day 2: Metadata Workshop
Workshop goals:
- Provided a hands-on workshop for partners to learn more about emerging metadata standards and tools for developing metadata and making records more discoverable
- Training was provided by representatives from NOAA's National Coastal Data Development Center
