Past Project -- Monitoring Locations Pilot
The primary goal of the Monitoring Locations Pilot Project is to provide a web-based mapping tool showing the locations where environmental monitoring is being done and provide information on the responsible organizations and the parameters being monitored.
Another goal was to use national standards (in this case, the Environmental Data Standards Council (EDSC) standards) to develop a data exchange template. This is a beginning step to achieving interoperability – a focus of the partnership.
During 2007 the project will be completed in static form and then efforts will be made to use data access capabilities, where they have been implemented, to make the monitoring locations product dynamic.
To submit monitoring location data for inclusion in this project, please fill out
this Excel spreadsheet template
and submit it to Tom Gale (tgale@gomoos.org). If you have any questions
about filling out the template, please contact Deb Soule
(dsoule@des.state.nh.us). Feel free to email either person with
suggestions or comments on this project.
