Use a Node 2 web client to exercise the GoMODP Node

Use a Node 2 web client to NodePing, Submit and GetStatus from the GoMODP Node.

This will walk you though using a Node 2 Web Client to exercise the GoMODP Node's NodePing, Submit and GetStatus services.

You will be logging in twice, first to the Node Client and then using the Node Client to the GoMODP Node. Logging into the Node is also called Authentication.

Node Client Web Access

Use this URL to access the Node 2 Web client. User ID and Password are the same for everyone.

Node 2 Web Client Login

This is the response to a successful login. We will only use the portion here labeled "Node Client".

Click on Node Ping in the left hand navigation to  initiate a Node Ping Request.

Fill in the End Point and Hello fields and Press Invoke.

 You should see this Node Ping Response.

Click on Home in the upper left and return to the home menu.

Click on Authenticate. You will be using your individual NAAS Account to login to the GoMODP Node.

End Point: http://www3.gomoos.org:8080/wne2/services/v20

UID: your Exchange Network Id, usually your email address.

Credentials: Your password

Domain: leave blank

Authentication Method: Choose Password

Press Invoke and you should receive this Authenticate Response. Note your assigned Security Token at the bottom of the page. This token has a limited lifespan. If it expires you will need to authenticate again.

 Return to the home menu by clicking on Home

Click Submit to begin a Node Submition. It is a two step process. You will first upload a file (to the web client) to use in this submission. Then you will choose a flow to submit the file to. Any file will do for this test. Remember to click Upload to do the actual upload.

After pressing upload you should see something similar to this with your file at the bottom of the screen. Here the file is menu.pdf. Your file will be different!

Click Complete Document Submission at the bottom of the page

Not all the fields in this form need to be completed.  End Point and Security Token will be filled in. Remember if you wait to long (5 or 10 minutes) you will need to re-authenticate to get a new Security Token.

Type in ODPX for Data Flow and Flow Operation

The rest of the fields do not need to be filled in.

Press Invoke at the bottom of the page.

After pressing Invoke you should  Receive a Transaction ID back.  Copy the Transaction ID to the clipboard. You will use it to check on the submission status.

 Return to the Home menu.

Click on GetStatus and paste the transaction ID into the form field

 Press Invoke.
