How to use the GoMODP/GCMD Metadata Checking Tool - Intro | Page 1 | Page 2 | Page 3
How does it work?
- The GCMD metadata application is pulling metadata records directly from partners GCMD record using API
- Fields are listed by relevance to NEIEN schema (we are not using ALL GCMD fields in catalog)
How do I use it?
- Go to the GoMODP/GCMD Metadata Checking Tool
- Find your Data Center record
- Click on 'Check GCMD Entry' to see if you are providing the fields that are being used in the Exchange Network catalog
- If record needs updating, click 'Update This Record' link to go to GCMD and make changes. Link goes directly to record.
- If record doesn’t exist, go to GCMD and create one -
Adding metadata record to the GoMODP Portal - If record exists on GCMD, but isn't appearing on the Metadata Checking Tool, you will need to make sure GoMODP is listed under project. The link below is a quick overview of how to link record to GoMODP:
